It has been suggested that crank hub failure is strictly a Euro M car problem.
At Frank Fahey Motorsports we have seen as many U.S. failures as Euro's, even without racing the car at all. It is true that the balancer on the U.S. 87
and 88 M5 and M6 have been slightly modified but they still have the same number of failures as the Euro versions. I highly recommend that the factory crank hub be replaced by our high performance crank hub.
